Message A z32 ecu is NOT a modern computer. It doesn't "install" anything. It doesn't "unpack" anything. The z32 does NOT have a kernel. It does not run "programs". It's does not have an operating system.

you are confusing it with a computer/smartphone/tablet. It's NOT. It's a calculator. a dvd player.

The software is VERY VERY simple and VERY VERY small and its monolithic. Everytime you flash a rom you are wiping out EVERYTHING. If you are using a computer anology which as I said, is weak. Think of a z32 rom flash as a recovery disc, used from a second computer with the hard drive from the first computer pulled out. It literally doesn't matter how bad you mess up the os or whatever. it's a full wipe that doesn't require the system to even work in order to wipe it out, do a full reload back to fresh and new. (this is why you need a rom burner, rom emulator, etc. This is the second system. No matter how bad your rom is borked it doesn't matter since the second system is still available to reflash it)

if you are actually interested, here is a quick starter. its old and has some inaccuracies but its a good place to start.

Putting AMS garbage, and $500 ebay wheels on a Z is like
dressing a Victorias Secret model in a Walmart dress and
Payless shoes. You're embarrassing yourself.
